Derbyshire - September 2020

Having had to cut short our holiday in Almunacar, Spain in March 2020 due to the outbreak of COVID-19 we were really looking forward to having a break with our family.

Self isolation on our return followed by the first lockdown with further restrictions, we booked a weeks holiday in a cottage near Carsington Water in Derbyshire.

The week’s holiday was to celebrate Ann’s 75th Birthday and it was fantastic that Dani, Simon, Jake and Ellie could join us during the weekend to help celebrate her Birthday.

We left after lunch on the Friday afternoon for what should have been just over a two hours drive but turned out to be more than three and a half due to a hold up on the M1. So what’s new when travelling in the UK! Once we reached our cottage and unpacked Simon and family arrived, The traffic jam had cleared up by the time that they got to it.

Please click on the link below and you will be able to see some of the lovely walks that we went on while in Derbyshire. Hope that you enjoy watching the video as much as we enjoyed the holiday.
